We are seeking a Senior Technical CRM Manager to help us build world class email marketing and marketing automation campaigns across our lines of business. The ideal candidate has a track record of leading a team in building impactful, data-driven email marketing and automation programs that drive business results.
You will become a part of our growing technical CRM team, delivering our CRM concepts towards commercial as well as private customers. You will be accountable for the implementation of automated customer journeys as well as for constant improvements of our technical CRM infrastructure. You will work with a variety of people from Marketing, Sales, Product, Tech and external partners who constantly strive to create impactful customer communication.
What you’ll do:
Own the technical B2B/B2C CRM processes and deliver complex campaign workflows
Create relevant customer segments based on individual needs and orchestrate CRM activities across different channels
Collaborate closely with our Marketing & product teams and translate their requirements into technical solutions
Interface with internal tech teams to extend the connection between the Kijiji platform and ourESP
Support the Marketing team with ad hoc analyses to create impactful recommendations & insights
Be a proactive consultant within cross-functional teams
Develop strategic plan for churn and retention initiatives, size project benefits and present plan to executives to secure alignment and project funding
Analyze and report on past campaign performance, and identify areas for testing and improvement
Be a subject matter expert on email design, build, compliance and strategic best practices and tactics for the organization
Analyze, synthesize and translate data into actionable insights and recommendation
Lead a team and manage our external email agency.
Who you are:
8+ years of working experience in a technical CRM role or similar
Experience with customer retention and engagement strategies with a strong understanding of list hygiene as well as email frequency and engagement tactics
Expert in creating and delivering fully automated and personalised customer journeys
You are a highly ambitious and motivated team player with strong communication skills
You act as a consultant towards your peers in the Marketing team as well as in several other (cross-functional) teams to deliver best in class results
Profound experience with Marketing automation tools, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Campaign
Solid knowledge of relational databases and you are familiar with data queries via SQL
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams is desirable
Understanding and experience implementing ESP level APIs to trigger and automate emails
Extensive experience with analytics – web analytics (Google Analytics), email analytics (Adobe Campaign Manager would be a plus), data visualisation (Tableau) and advanced customer segmentation models
