- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Product Security Partners, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promote knowledge sharing, and facilitate career development opportunities for team members.
- Product Security Strategy: Align with the rest of the Product Security Leadership to develop and execute the product security strategy. Enable and drive initiatives to enhance product security, aligning them with overall business objectives.
- Product Partner Responsibilities: Serve as the Product Partner for a specific product, acting as the primary point of contact for its security. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure the implementation of appropriate security measures throughout the product lifecycle:
- Product Advisory & Guidance Architecture (1st level): Offer advice and guidance on product security architecture, design, and implementation. Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Support on Vulnerability Remediation (1st level): Support product teams with vulnerability prioritization and remediation efforts.
- Compliance Questionnaires and Customer Interlocution: Fill out compliance questionnaires and engage in customer discussions about product security. Ensure accurate and timely completion of security-related documentation and address customer inquiries, aligning with legal, compliance, and sales teams as needed.
- Facilitator in Case of Security Incidents: Act as a facilitator during security incidents impacting your specific product team.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering teams, to align product security objectives with business goals. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and support for product security initiatives.
- Liaising with Authorities: Engage and communicate with relevant authorities as necessary, especially in cases of security breaches or regulatory inquiries
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product security, application security, or a similar role within the technology industry.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of secure coding practices, secure software development methodologies, and application security frameworks.
- Familiarity with several security tool families among:
Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
Network Security tools
Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems
Vulnerability Assessment tools
- Familiarity with industry security frameworks, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.(Especially knowledge of French and European regulatory compliance, information governance, and privacy best practices)
- Ability to work in a continuously adapting Agile environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in both French and English
