Paid Digital Marketing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Marketing Specialist to join the Benelux Marketing Team (based in Amsterdam) and Adevinta's global team of digital experts to lead on executing our social acquisition and retention roadmap. In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day management of campaign set-up, trafficking, tracking, troubleshooting and optimization of digital campaigns across multiple social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, …) in a way which enables us to achieve best in class processes to engage with our audiences. Candidates must not only be technically sound, but also be good data detectives when necessary. It is expected that the Social Media Marketing Specialist will be the “go-to” expert to the rest of the media team for topics across our social platforms. 

In this exciting role, you will be working closely with Paid Media Specialists (who define and coordinate the execution of the annual paid media strategies for our Recommerce, Mobility & SMB verticals), Integrated Marketing, Content development, CRM & Analytics teams as well as strategic Ad Tech partners and various agencies so you will require a solid ability to manage projects across multiple departments and partners and showcase good communication skills. 

Responsibilities: 

• Build Digital Marketing campaigns: experienced in day-to-day management of campaign set-up, trafficking, tracking, troubleshooting of paid digital campaigns on Social Media channels, including Feedbased Remarketing & Prospecting, Video and App Campaigns. 

• Manage and optimize Digital Marketing campaigns within your channel responsibility: you will be hands-on, with a continued strive to improve performance, embrace automation and technology to streamline processes.

• Analyse, report, and present results: high level of analytical skills required and ability to understand data and the story it tells. Report these findings in a clear manner and identify additional opportunities

• Scale your expertise: Keep ahead of the industry landscape to identify any potential opportunities for our business. Communicate and share learnings locally and globally with the intent to drive and scale best practices

What we are looking for:

• Native Dutch language skills and Proficient English language skills

• 3+ years Digital Marketing experience (particularly Social media)

• Strong expertise with proven track record in operational Social media campaign management (optimization, measurement, structure, audience management, targeting, ad copy writing)

• Strong skills in Meta ads, covering full funnel from awareness to performance, including experience in managing dynamic ad campaigns with product feeds

• Management and understanding of tracking pixels.

• Knowledge of tools including Smartly, Channable, Adjust (or equivalent tools)

• Experience in app marketing and marketing automation are a plus.

• A passionate & data driven social media expert with great knowledge of the Dutch (& ideally Belgian) digital media landscape as well as progressive measurement & optimization techniques.

• A strong teammate who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

• Demonstrated digital paid media execution to very high standards, with personal accountability for great performance.

• Positive energy, willingness to develop further, proactive, entrepreneurial way of thinking.

• Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

• Solid communication skills: the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and guide team members on doing the same.
